Ultimately, combative effectiveness is obtained through a combination of simplicity and directness with the subtlety of deceptiveness and, as in all martial arts, the appropriate mental attitude. In pursuit of elusive expertise, enough of which always remains beyond our grasp, its practitioners are always discovering something new, and finding its technical variety an endless source of fascination and enjoyment.
